Programs & Workshops

School Programs

We deliver tailored wellbeing programs to young people aged 8-18. Womn-Kind school programs have been designed by a network of allied health professionals, mental health experts, educators and young people. Workshop outcomes are influenced by the UN sustainability goals, Australian Curriculum and best practice.

Our school programs are delivered by Womn-Kind mentors, who are qualified in Mental Health First Aid, aged between 25 and 30 and have some form of relevant lived experience.

We can tailor every program and workshop to meet the needs, challenges and goals of each school and cohort by incorporating the schools values and meeting with staff to discuss goals.

The signature Womn-Kind Wellbeing Workshop can be delivered in a half-day or full-day workshop. We also offer 1-hour seminars, weekly or fortnightly programs and assembly keynotes.

Our tried and tested approach to wellbeing continues to improve the overall mental health of young people across the country due to our focus on preventative, relatable and engaging content.

Boarding Wellbeing

Our boarding wellbeing programs are the first of their kind in Australia and are delivered by Womn-Kind mentors who are also boarding alumni.

Our mentors have a deep understanding of the challenges and complexities of living away from home and in a co-living environment with different responsibilities and pressures. Our mentors relate to young people through sharing experiences, tips, tools and advice on thriving in boarding, creating healthy habits and embracing life at school.

We bring a homely feely to wellbeing. These programs can include hands-on activities such as face masks, yoga, mindfulness sessions, making brain foods bowls and scavenger hunts. We do this while having meaningful conversations that lead to optimised and sustainable outcomes across wellbeing, belonging and leadership.

Our boarding wellbeing programs often involve regular sessions that complement existing school wellbeing frameworks to aid a collaborative and engaging approach. We take some of the emotional pressure off boarding staff while exploring a diverse range of topics with boarders.

Public Workshops

Could your local area benefit from a Womn-Kind workshop or do you want to organise a private wellbeing workshop for a community group, sports team or local organisation?

Our wellbeing workshops help to close the gap in effective mental health support and education for adolescent girls and gender-diverse young people. We create an engaging, safe, inclusive and fun experience that leaves young people feeling cared for, loved, understood, supported, capable, strong, important and as though they belong.

Facilitated by Womn-Kind mentors, our wellbeing workshops can be incorporated into events and activities for young people Australia wide. The duration and topics of the workshop can be customised to meet your needs.

We also deliver seminars for parents, carers, educators and community leaders who regularly engage with teenagers. These sessions help to equip people with insights, tools, advice and resources that assist in supporting teenagers. Please get in touch if you would like to work together to deliver a community session.
