We are looking for incredible young people to join Womn-Kind as National Youth Advisors

This is an exciting opportunity for young people aged 14-25 to join the Womn-Kind team as 2025 National Youth Advisors! In this role, you will be working closely with the Womn-Kind team to advocate for change, create beautiful and engaging social media content, provide advice and ideas to Womn-Kind, empower our community, help to design services, events, merch, partnerships (and much more!!).

• Are passionate about the health and wellbeing of young women and gender-diverse young people

• Want to be a proud ambassador of Womn-Kind

• Are a bit of a wildcard. you’re happy to give everything a red hot go!

• Consider themselves a boss at staying up to date with the latest trends and memes

• Want to progress their leadership journey

• Are enthusiastic and actively engage in generating ideas and working with others

• Think outside the square and are bold enough to share their thoughts and ideas

• Want to help grow the Womn-Kind community

• Has strong communication and organisational skills (& time management)

• Enjoy talking/writing about personal experiences and things that matter to young people

• Are a dreamer and love thinking up new (& better) ways of doing things

• Keen to be involved in the design of new merch, app content and events

• Want to understand the operations of a start-up business

• Feel comfortable to speak to camera for socials and in meetings (this is ideal, but not essential). You don’t need to be an extrovert to excel in this role.

National Youth Advisor(s) will enjoy the perks of:

The logistics:

• This is a 12-month position commencing January 2025

• Commitment = 2-3 hours per week (flexible) including a weekly one-hour meeting (online)

• Will be working remotely, from wherever suits you best (though we also love to get together in person sometimes too. Here’s an e.g.)

• Applications open = 3 November 2024

• Applications close = 1 December 2024

• Successful applicants will be notified by 13 December 2024

• You must live in Australia (any state)
